Lord Arthur Savile is about to be married to Sybil Merton. He is introduced by Lady Windermere to a Cheiromantist who reads his palm and tells him that it is in his future that he will be a murderer. He decides he has no right to be married until he has committed the murder. But that is easier said than done. Despite attempts to poison an elderly aunt, and to blow up an ancient uncle, fate solves the problem for him. The story is based on a short story by Oscar Wilde, with additional Wildeisms added from other stories. |
