Early Years
The Players started life at the same time as the Wilmslow Guild (then the "Wilmslow Beacon Guild") in 1926. The Guild Players membership was drawn from the Arts Group - a group dedicated to the study and enjoyment of performing arts in general, including classical music.

Early Photos
The earliest photograph we are aware of dates back to 1936-7, and is of a production entitled A Hundred Years Old. The only thing is - our records don't mention a production of that name!
